N4 Solutions is seeking a WordPress Developer to provide support services for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. Join our dynamic team and be part of our mission to evaluate, collaborate, and innovate with customers to overcome complex challenges. This position is contingent upon passing a government suitability determination.

Build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins while ensuring they are responsive, accessible, and optimized for speed and SEO. Implement and test new features across browsers and devices. Customize existing themes and plugins to meet project requirements.

Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and services into WordPress, and configure hosting environments. Conduct debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization while maintaining code quality, security, and Git version control. Work closely with designers, content teams, and project managers in an Agile environment.

Support junior developers by reviewing code and sharing best practices. Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders. Stay updated on WordPress trends to deliver high-quality digital experiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3–5 years of professional WordPress development experience
  • Proficient in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL
  • Understanding of SEO, accessibility (WCAG standards), and site performance optimization
  • Knowledge of hosting, DNS management, and WordPress security best practices
  • Experience with WordPress REST API, custom post types, and advanced custom fields (ACF)
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment
  • U.S. Citizenship
