We seek an experienced Senior WordPress Developer with expert skills in React, Gutenberg, and custom plugins.

You will lead development, maintenance, and optimization of custom WordPress plugins for enterprise-scale environments. Create and refine custom Gutenberg blocks using React.js for high performance. Ensure seamless API integrations with our SaaS applications and debug complex issues across devices.

Optimize database queries and site performance for fast load times and scalability. Write secure, efficient code following best practices like automated testing, CI/CD, and linting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve code and infrastructure.

Requirements

Expert level WordPress experience (5+ years), including Gutenberg editor
Advanced level design skills (2+ years)
Expert-level proficiency in WordPress development, specifically with React.js
Experience building custom WordPress plugins
Proficiency in API integrations with external SaaS applications
Skills in debugging backend and frontend issues
Knowledge of database query optimization and site performance tuning

Responsibilities

Lead the continued development, maintenance, and optimization of our custom WordPress plugin designed for enterprise-scale environments
Create, refine, and maintain custom Gutenberg blocks using React.js, with a focus on high performance and responsiveness
Ensure smooth integration between WordPress and our SaaS application by utilizing robust APIs and troubleshooting communication issues effectively
Debug complex backend and frontend issues quickly and efficiently, with a focus on minimizing downtime and ensuring an optimal user experience across all devices and browsers
Optimize database queries and overall WordPress site performance, ensuring fast load times and high scalability
Write and maintain high-quality, efficient, and secure code, adhering to development best practices such as automated testing (PHPUnit, Jest, Cypress), CI/CD pipelines, PHP and JavaScript linting, and version control
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas of improvement in both code and infrastructure and proactively implement solutions
