Requirements

  • Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
  • Experience creating and maintaining responsive WordPress websites
  • Proficiency in developing and customizing WordPress themes
  • Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG 2+ at level AA)
  • Ability to translate mockups into functional webpages
  • Familiarity with WordPress best practices for user experience
  • Skills in collaborating with designers and product teams

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain high-quality, responsive WordPress websites with seamless user experiences using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
  • Develop theme-based WordPress pages and customize themes to meet project specifications and design requirements
  • Implement and maintain web accessibility standards (WCAG 2+ at level AA)
  • Work closely with product team and designers to translate mockups into functional and aesthetically pleasing webpages
  • Optimize WordPress sites for performance and user experience
  • Troubleshoot and debug WordPress themes and plugins
  • Ensure design elements are accurately implemented and optimized for web use
