Full Stack WordPress Developer

The Web Developer designs, develops, modifies, and maintains secure, reliable, user-friendly websites and applications across the ministry’s diverse digital ecosystem. This includes traditional WordPress sites primarily using Elementor Pro and headless WordPress sites with React frontends. The role demands proficiency in PHP, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React to deliver visually appealing, performant, mobile-responsive interfaces.

Daily tasks involve designing, developing, evaluating, enhancing, testing, and maintaining WordPress sites using MySQL databases and plugins/themes on a cloud-hosted LAMP stack. Build and maintain React-based frontends integrating REST or GraphQL APIs and CDNs as required. Optimize standardization, performance, scalability, and security across all sites.

This position requires a self-starter who is self-directed, personable, and an excellent communicator, able to work independently and as a team member. Take ownership of assigned tasks within project scopes, meet deadlines, and communicate progress to team members, manager, and stakeholders. Demonstrate humility, honesty, transparency, and a drive to constantly improve.

Strong critical thinking with an analytical mind, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills are essential. Working knowledge of WordPress CMS, CRM, DB, SEO, APIs, security, design plugins, and web standards including mobile-first responsiveness.
