We are looking for an AI-First Senior Full Stack WordPress Engineer who does not just build websites but architects scalable, secure, high-performance digital platforms using modern engineering practices enhanced by AI.
This role is for engineers who integrate AI into their thinking, workflow, and problem-solving approach. They use it to accelerate development, improve quality, and ship better systems.
As an AI-First Senior Full Stack WordPress Engineer, you will lead the architecture, development, and optimization of scalable WordPress-based systems. You will leverage AI tools to improve engineering velocity, code quality, and delivery standards.
You will work across backend, frontend, infrastructure, performance, and automation. This ensures robust, production-grade solutions while maintaining clean architecture and modular code structure.
Requirements
- PHP (OOP), WordPress Core, Hooks, Filters
- Custom plugin development
- MySQL optimization
- API integrations
- HTML5, CSS3, SCSS/Tailwind
- Modern JavaScript
Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom themes and plugins using modern PHP (OOP) standards
- Architect scalable WordPress solutions, monolithic or headless where needed
- Build and maintain REST APIs and third-party integrations
- Optimize database structure and complex queries
- Implement caching, CDN, and performance layers
- Ensure clean architecture and modular code structure
- Contribute to technical architecture decisions
