Requirements

  • Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
  • Experience creating and maintaining responsive WordPress websites
  • Proficiency in building and customizing WordPress themes
  • Knowledge of WCAG 2+ at level AA accessibility standards
  • Ability to translate design mockups into functional webpages
  • Familiarity with WordPress plugins and custom post types
  • Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain high-quality, responsive WordPress websites with seamless user experiences using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
  • Develop theme-based WordPress pages, building and customizing themes to meet project specifications and design requirements
  • Implement and maintain web accessibility standards (WCAG 2+ at level AA) for diverse users including those with disabilities
  • Work closely with product team and designers to translate mockups into functional and aesthetically pleasing webpages
  • Optimize WordPress sites for performance and responsiveness across devices
  • Debug and troubleshoot WordPress themes, plugins, and custom code
  • Integrate third-party services and APIs into WordPress applications
