As a WordPress Developer, develop custom plugins and themes, configure websites, select and debug plugins, and maintain sites by upgrading core and plugins without regressions. Create documentation and contribute to the open-source community. Work closely with developers, strategists, designers, and project managers using standardized workflows.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience working with WordPress
Ability to create WordPress themes and plugins following best practices
Experience building modern WordPress sites embracing the block editor, familiar with theme.json, hybrid themes, site editor, and block themes
Experience using the Linux command line, Git, and Docker-based tools such as ddev/lando or wp-env
Deeper experience with block editor APIs, including writing custom blocks in React and custom plugins
Expertise writing HTML, PHP, CSS via SASS, and JavaScript
Experience using a project management tool like Redmine or JIRA
Strong communication skills in English
