Wing Assistant is redefining the future of work for companies worldwide as a one-stop shop to build world-class teams and place operations on autopilot. We are looking for a WordPress Developer to start immediately. This remote role involves US work hours of 20-40 hours per week.

You will design and build responsive, user-friendly WordPress websites while developing custom themes and plugins. Manage front-end and back-end development to ensure high performance and availability of the CMS. Troubleshoot issues and conduct performance tests as needed.

Collaborate with design and content teams to bring website concepts to life. Implement SEO best practices and perform maintenance updates. Provide technical support and training to clients and staff.

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in web development and WordPress. Actual tasks and tools will be discussed in the final interview stage. We prioritize candidates who can succeed in this role.

Requirements

Proven experience as a WordPress Developer
Proficiency in front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development
Familiarity with website architecture and navigation features
Knowledge of MySQL database management
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Strong understanding of website performance, security, and optimization techniques
