About this role

This is a remote position for a WordPress Developer & Web Designer. You will create website designs and develop them in WordPress with a good visual sense and strong technical skills. Work closely with the design team to translate brand concepts into functional, high-quality websites.

Design website layouts, wireframes, and page structures based on project requirements. Develop and customize WordPress websites, themes, and templates while converting design files from Figma, Adobe XD, or PSD into responsive pages. Customize and manage plugins and page builders like Elementor or Gutenberg.

Collaborate with the design team to maintain brand consistency and design quality. Assist with website-related visuals, UI elements, and design adaptations. Ensure websites are responsive, fast-loading, SEO-friendly, and follow best practices for security, performance, and scalability.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in WordPress development and web design
  • Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL
  • Hands-on experience with custom WordPress themes and plugins
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, or Illustrator
  • Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design
  • Experience with popular page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg)
  • Knowledge of SEO fundamentals and website performance optimization
  • Experience with WooCommerce
