Een baan bij Really Simple Plugins is iets voor jou als je impact durft te maken. We werken dagelijks samen om onze plugins te verbeteren en een verschil te maken op meer dan zes miljoen WordPress-websites. We opereren als een ‘lean and mean’ team binnen team.blue.

We beginnen de dag met een standup met het hele team, successen en uitdagingen delen. Je helpt een collega met WordPress hooks en ontwikkelt een plugin voor een team.blue brand op basis van functionele briefing, WP plugin blauwdruk en API-documentatie. Je werkt nauw samen met SaaS collega’s en eventueel een medior of front-end developer.

We geven prioriteit aan individuele professionele ontwikkeling, er is volop ruimte voor eigen inbreng en kennisdeling. Ben jij iemand die graag leert en verantwoordelijkheid neemt? Dan horen we graag van je.

Requirements

Senior experience with PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Proficient in managing and optimizing MySQL databases, including designing schemas, writing complex queries, ensuring data security, and integrating with applications
Senior experience with WordPress development and WordPress plugins
Experience with React is a plus
Fluent English language skills, both spoken and written

Responsibilities

Develop new open-source WordPress plugins, both standalone and for other team.blue brands
Expand the WordPress plugin blueprint, for example with composer-packages
Identify and prioritize optimizations within codebases and development processes
Optimize automated test processes
Ensure code consistency, quality, and security
Design plugin architecture based on functional briefing, WP plugin blueprint, and API documentation
Collaborate with SaaS team and other developers like medior or front-end
