Evoplay is one of Ukraine's largest product IT companies working on the international online games market. We create comprehensive B2B solutions that withstand high loads and help partners scale. We're seeking a WordPress developer for our internal SEO project developing and maintaining web products.

The role focuses on creating, supporting, and developing WordPress sites along with custom themes and plugins. You'll implement new functionality, integrate external services, optimize performance, and ensure continuous project operation. Daily tasks include bug fixes, refactoring, and adapting solutions to requirements.

Our team operates in an ecosystem format with each direction having its own culture and focus. Collaborate closely with designers and QA engineers. We act where resilience, deep expertise, quick decisions, and scalable thinking are needed.

Requirements

Confident knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Understanding of WordPress architecture (hooks, template hierarchy, WP_Query)
Development of custom themes and plugins
Experience working with WP Multisite
Ability to read and write clean, structured code
Understanding of design patterns and architecture (SOLID and others)
Work with version control systems (Git)
Analytical thinking, ability to work with specs and deadlines

Develop and maintain sites on WordPress
Create and customize themes and plugins
Implement new and refine existing site functionality
Optimize loading speed and performance
Find new solutions and adapt ready ones to requirements
Fix bugs and provide technical support for projects
Refactor and optimize projects
