About this role

We are seeking a highly skilled WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. You will design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites to meet clients' specific needs. Proficiency in front-end and back-end technologies along with a keen eye for design ensures exceptional user experiences.

Daily tasks include developing and maintaining WordPress-based websites, themes, and plugins while customizing themes to match project designs. Ensure sites are responsive and optimized across devices and browsers. Front-end work involves creating visually appealing pages with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, integrating graphics and multimedia.

Back-end responsibilities cover setting up WordPress installations, databases, and servers, plus PHP coding for custom functionality and debugging issues. Manage content for engaging presentation, implement security best practices, and optimize performance including page load times. Handle SEO to boost rankings and configure analytics for tracking user behavior.

Collaborate with designers, content creators, and clients to align on requirements and provide updates. Develop custom plugins, integrate third-party APIs, and maintain documentation for configurations and code. Stay current with WordPress updates, industry trends, and new technologies to enhance skills continually.

Requirements

Proven experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role
Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL
Familiarity with web design principles and UI/UX best practices
Experience with responsive and mobile-first design
Knowledge of security best practices and website performance optimization
Familiarity with SEO principles and analytics tools
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
