About this role

We are looking for a technically versatile WordPress Developer who goes beyond basic web development. This role sits at the intersection of web engineering, AI-assisted content production, and digital marketing execution. You will own the technical layer of Elaris's digital presence, from high-converting landing pages to booking integrations and performance-optimised web assets.

Day-to-day involves building, maintaining, and optimising WordPress websites across all four Elaris branches using themes, plugins, Elementor, Divi, and custom templates. Ensure high site speed, Core Web Vitals, mobile responsiveness, uptime, security, and server configurations. Manage staging environments, backups, and Git version control.

Develop high-converting campaign landing pages for bridal, hair, nails, and seasonal promotions by translating marketing briefs into pixel-perfect HTML/CSS. Coordinate A/B testing with the marketing team and integrate UTM tracking, Meta Pixel, Google Tag Manager, and conversion events. Write custom PHP scripts to extend WordPress functionality.

Leverage AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot for accelerating HTML, CSS, PHP code generation and prompt-engineering. Generate and optimise AI images with Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, or DALL-E for promotional assets. Stay current with AI tooling to reduce production time and improve output quality across digital marketing efforts.

Requirements

Proficiency in WordPress development, themes, plugins, Elementor, Divi, and custom templates
Expertise in site performance optimization including Core Web Vitals, speed, and mobile responsiveness
Experience with Git version control, staging environments, backups, security hardening, and server configurations
Skills in HTML/CSS for pixel-perfect landing page development from marketing briefs
Knowledge of tracking integrations: UTM, Meta Pixel, Google Tag Manager, conversion events
Familiarity with PHP for custom WordPress scripts and functionality
Ability to use AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot for code generation and prompt-engineering
Proficiency in AI image generation tools such as Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, DALL-E

Responsibilities

Build, maintain, and optimise WordPress websites across all four Elaris branches

Handle staging environments, backups, version control (Git), uptime, security hardening, SSL, and server-side configurations
Design and build high-converting campaign landing pages for bridal, hair, nails, and seasonal promotions
Translate marketing briefs into fully coded HTML/CSS pages with pixel-perfect execution
A/B test landing page layouts in coordination with the marketing team
Integrate UTM tracking, Meta Pixel, Google Tag Manager, and conversion events on all pages
Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate HTML, CSS, and PHP code generation
Generate and optimise AI images using Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, or DALL-E for landing pages and banners
Write and maintain custom PHP scripts for WordPress functionality
