Join eClerx as a Full Stack WordPress Engineer in London, assisting with integration and updates between Iterable CRM and WordPress, both headless and monolithic. Build highly scalable distributed solutions that drive positive user experiences and business growth. Ensure high-performance and availability while managing all technical aspects of the CMS.

Formulate effective, responsive designs and convert them into working Gutenberg blocks and front-end components using Figma, including Dev Mode. Design and implement new features and functionality across sites. Handle backend tasks like database and server integration, while analysing performance and troubleshooting errors.

Participate in all aspects of agile software development, including daily scrum, design, implementation, and deployment with Scrum or Kanban methodologies. Work across marketing solutions, implementing systems integrations, data capture forms, and the email platform SDK. Collaborate to meet user needs and stakeholder acceptance criteria.

Maintain high standards for code quality, application design, site uptime, and scale. Contribute to best practices in site builds, application security, regular patching, and coding standards. Develop well-documented, reusable code to support ongoing enhancements.

Requirements

  • Experience with Headless and monolithic WordPress is essential
  • Experience with React is essential
  • Experience with CRMs (Iterable desirable)
  • Experience creating, amending, and updating Gutenberg Blocks (front and backend)
  • Experience developing and converting designs into WordPress themes
  • Knowledge of WordPress plugins
  • Knowledge of multiple front-end languages including PHP and HTML
  • Experience implementing and maintaining tracking via the data layer

Responsibilities
