About this role

As a WordPress Developer on GoDaddy’s WordPress Premium Support team, you’ll provide fast, professional, and top-tier service using your WordPress expertise. You'll be the go-to expert who helps customers quickly resolve their website issues and get back on track. This is a remote position from your home in Serbia.

You’ll troubleshoot user interface issues using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP while managing all technical aspects of WordPress with efficiency. Conduct audits, troubleshoot plugin and theme conflicts, handle installations, and manage MySQL databases. Working hours include 24/7 rotating shifts with evenings and weekends.

Serve as the expert liaison for GoDaddy call center employees on WordPress-related questions. Deliver excellent customer service via email and support tickets with timely follow-ups and empathetic communication. Collaborate effectively across departments and levels to resolve customer issues.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in working with WordPress
  • Proficiency with browser debugging tools
  • Strong understanding of CSS modifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
  • Solid understanding of MySQL, phpMyAdmin, and the WordPress database structure
  • Experience with website speed optimization techniques
  • Basic knowledge of SSH
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping less technical customers resolve website issues
  • Experience in working with WooCommerce and its add-ons
