About this role

As a WordPress Developer, you're responsible for Making Stuff Go. You will build infrastructure to create new features, improve existing code, squash bugs, and help us rapidly scale our platform. This role impacts millions of users through high-quality craftsmanship.

Common responsibilities include triaging bugs and small enhancements in GitHub, scoping, writing, and testing new product features and addons. You will refactor legacy code with attention to backwards compatibility and provide feedback through Github PRs. Daily tasks span front-end and back-end, from small fixes to large rewrites.

You thrive as a self-starter who owns features from conception to completion. Excellent communication ensures nothing slips through the cracks, with no such thing as overcommunication. You're a team player comfortable with peer support, critical feedback, and collaboration via chat, audio, and video.
