You'll design and build website front-ends, create architecture, and manage back-ends including database and server integration. Responsibilities include conducting performance tests, troubleshooting issues, and leading development of WordPress sites, plugins, themes, and custom functionality. Proactive post-release monitoring ensures high performance and availability.

Build solutions dreamed up by product and design teams, delivering working software every two weeks. Part of a large team spanning three global offices, collaborate to integrate front- and back-end components for user-centered web and mobile experiences.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in WordPress development, particularly in custom themes and plugins
Proficient in PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
Experience with modern frontend/CSS frameworks (e.g., TailwindCSS, BEM)
Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug
Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and automated build systems
Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial
Good understanding of SEO implications during migrations and URL restructuring

Responsibilities

Conduct WordPress training with the client
Consult, design, and implement new features and functionality
