As WordPress Developer at VWE, you deliver direct contributions to clients' online visibility. With the website team, you ensure technical functioning and improvements for over 2,000 websites. You combine frontend and backend knowledge to realize new functionalities, build connections, and maintain our own plugins.

Requirements

At least 2 years experience as WordPress developer
In-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript and WordPress REST API
Experience with frontend and backend WordPress development
Experience developing custom WordPress plugins
Experience building and optimizing API integrations

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain custom WordPress plugins
Build and optimize API integrations with internal and external systems
Perform technical management and maintenance of existing WordPress websites
Develop new features and templates, both frontend and backend
Act as technical point of contact within the website team
Contribute to scalable, future-proof WordPress solutions
