About this role

Senior WordPress Developers build, update, and maintain responsive websites in WordPress. They write clean, well-designed code and contribute to all phases of the website development lifecycle. Designing and implementing new features and functionality is a core part of the role.

Daily tasks include configuring and customizing WordPress, WP plugins, and integrating with other tools like REST APIs in JSON and XML formats. Design new web page designs using Figma and understand client requirements to translate them into proper UX and UI functionality. Maintain websites monthly, manage domains and servers especially in WP Engine, and integrate forms with Salesforce CRM and Pardot.

Work closely with digital strategists, SEO specialists, and designers in a fast-paced environment. Perform quality assurance before going live with any website updates. Strong collaboration and independent problem-solving are essential.

Thrive with minimal supervision, learn rapidly, and master diverse web technologies and techniques. Experience in SaaS and hotel website development, Atlassian, and AI tools is advantageous. Attention to detail ensures high-quality deliverables across multiple tasks.

Requirements

5+ years of front-end website development and maintenance experience in WordPress/PHP
Highly skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe XD; prior experience in Figma
Proven graphic design experience
Knowledgeable in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (with JQuery)
Proficient in code versioning tools, including Git, Mercurial, and SVN
Fluent in written and spoken English
Prior experience integrating and managing website forms with Salesforce CRM and Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot)
Strong knowledge of web hosting environments to work with the website support vendor on any issues
