About this role
We are inviting you, a highly motivated and results-oriented PHP/WordPress Engineer, to join our team for ensuring solutions as well as strengthening the product. Our team has unique expertise in research, analysis, and product development. We rely on technical insights and a data-driven approach to create disruptive innovations in the fin-tech industry.
You will develop and maintain full-stack PHP/WordPress solutions using the Roots ecosystem including Bedrock, Acorn, and Sage. Build and support custom plugins and themes while implementing pixel-perfect responsive layouts with Blade, SCSS, and JavaScript. Design REST APIs and integrate third-party services for seamless functionality.
Work in WordPress Multisite environments, optimize frontend and backend performance, and handle scheduled tasks with cron jobs and background processes. Develop custom WP-CLI commands for maintenance, automation, and internal tooling. Apply clean architecture principles and reusable code practices in a collaborative team setting.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a PHP Engineer
- Experience with WordPress
- Experience with MySQL
- Experience with Laravel
- Deep understanding of WordPress core, including actions, filters
- Strong knowledge of OOP principles
- Confident use of Git in a team environment
- Experience with ACF Composer and ACF Gutenberg Blocks
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining full-stack PHP/WordPress solutions using the Roots ecosystem (Bedrock, Acorn, Sage)
- Building and supporting custom plugins and themes
- Developing and maintaining ACF Gutenberg Blocks
- Implementing pixel-perfect, responsive layouts using Blade, SCSS, and JavaScript
- Designing and integrating REST APIs and third-party services
- Optimizing performance on both frontend and backend
- Working with WordPress Multisite environments
- Implementing and maintaining scheduled tasks (cron jobs) and background processes
