About this role

This is a remote position for a WordPress Developer & Web Designer who can create website designs and develop them in WordPress. The role requires a good visual sense, strong technical skills, and the ability to work closely with the design team. Translate brand concepts into functional, high-quality websites.

Design website layouts, wireframes, and page structures based on project requirements. Develop and customize WordPress websites, themes, and templates while converting design files from Figma, Adobe XD, or PSD into responsive pages. Customize and manage WordPress plugins and page builders like Elementor or Gutenberg.

Collaborate with the design team to maintain brand consistency and design quality. Assist with website-related visuals, UI elements, and design adaptations. Ensure websites are responsive, fast-loading, and SEO-friendly through best practices for security, performance, and scalability.

Perform website maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting in a collaborative environment with strong design leadership. Work on creative and diverse web projects. Benefit from growth and learning opportunities.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in WordPress development and web design
Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL
Hands-on experience with custom WordPress themes and plugins
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, or Illustrator
Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design
Experience with popular page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg)
Knowledge of SEO fundamentals and website performance optimization
