Requirements

  • Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
  • Proficiency in creating and customizing WordPress themes
  • Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG 2+ at level AA)
  • Experience translating design mockups into responsive webpages
  • Familiarity with WordPress core functions and best practices
  • Ability to ensure seamless user experiences on WordPress sites
  • Skills in responsive design for diverse devices

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain high-quality, responsive WordPress websites with seamless user experiences using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
  • Develop theme-based WordPress pages, building and customizing themes to meet project specifications and design requirements
  • Implement and maintain web accessibility standards (WCAG 2+ at level AA) for diverse users including those with disabilities
  • Work closely with the product team and designers to translate mockups into functional and aesthetically pleasing webpages
  • Optimize WordPress sites for performance and cross-browser compatibility
  • Troubleshoot and debug WordPress themes and plugins
  • Integrate custom functionality into WordPress sites per client needs
