Requirements

  • Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
  • Experience creating and maintaining responsive WordPress websites
  • Proficiency in developing and customizing WordPress themes
  • Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG 2+ at level AA)
  • Ability to translate design mockups into functional webpages
  • Familiarity with WordPress best practices and core functions
  • Strong problem-solving skills for web development challenges

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain high-quality, responsive WordPress websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP for seamless user experiences
  • Develop theme-based WordPress pages and customize themes to meet project specifications and design requirements
  • Implement and maintain web accessibility standards (WCAG 2+ at level AA) for diverse users including those with disabilities
  • Collaborate with product team and designers to translate mockups into functional and aesthetically pleasing webpages
  • Optimize WordPress sites for performance and cross-browser compatibility
  • Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress theme and plugin issues
  • Integrate custom functionalities into WordPress themes and core
