Requirements

  • Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
  • Experience creating and maintaining WordPress websites
  • Proficiency in developing and customizing WordPress themes
  • Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG 2+ AA)
  • Ability to translate design mockups into functional webpages
  • Familiarity with responsive design principles
  • Understanding of WordPress core functions and best practices

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain high-quality, responsive WordPress websites with seamless user experiences using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
  • Develop theme-based WordPress pages and customize themes to meet project specifications and design requirements
  • Implement and maintain web accessibility standards (WCAG 2+ at level AA) for diverse users including those with disabilities
  • Work closely with product team and designers to translate mockups into functional and aesthetically pleasing webpages
  • Optimize WordPress sites for performance and responsiveness
  • Debug and troubleshoot WordPress themes and plugins
  • Deploy and update WordPress sites to production environments
