Mushpeak is the driving force behind several successful WooCommerce websites specializing in supplement sales, including mushpeak.eu. The company has experienced steady growth and plans to continue expanding. Their team features Dutch owners available 16 hours a day, customer support in the Philippines, and various partners.

In this role, design and implement visually appealing, responsive website templates from scratch. Fine-tune typography, colour schemes, and spacing for consistent appeal. Develop WooCommerce child themes ensuring responsiveness across screen sizes.

Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and multi-screen illustrations. Conduct design analysis, test enhancements, and stay current with web trends. Collaborate closely with design and content teams while proactively addressing issues.

Mushpeak offers a friendly, rewarding environment for dedicated team players. Onboarding includes 2-3 days training with the back-end developer and owners to learn projects and workflows. Enjoy flexible full-time hours from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM Dutch time, with occasional weekend availability for updates.

Requirements

3-4 years of experience as a front-end Web Designer or similar role
Experience with WordPress and WooCommerce and ability to work independently
Proficiency in web design, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
Substantial experience in PHP to make frontend components work
Ability to lead the design process with professional suggestions and improvements
Familiarity with common UI/UX design challenges in WordPress
Strong understanding of responsive design principles for all screen sizes
Knowledge of design tools and independence without heavy team reliance

Responsibilities

Design and implement visually appealing, responsive website templates from scratch
Fine-tune typography, colour schemes, and spacing for consistent visual appeal
