Junior Web Designer

WebFX is seeking an entry-level candidate for the Interactive Design team. The ideal candidate holds or will soon complete a bachelor's degree with a strong eye for design and excitement about building a career in digital design. Basic design skills are expected while training is provided on all required tools and processes.

Daily work centers on designing websites and user experiences for roughly 40 percent of the time. Another 40 percent involves creating marketing graphics and digital advertising materials. The remaining time focuses on learning website editing and front-end basics through real client projects.

Designers partner with project managers and web developers across more than 300 projects per year. The role offers high variety as websites, landing pages, promotional graphics, infographics, and social media assets are produced for clients in many industries.

Hard skills are trained on the job while soft skills and a passion for quality results drive success. Candidates who enjoy thinking creatively and analytically while keeping up with web technology will find room to stretch and grow their abilities.
