As a Senior WordPress Developer, develop and maintain websites and e-commerce solutions in line with project requirements. Implement custom themes and plugins tailored to client needs. Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure seamless integration with third-party services.

Collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality outcomes. Work in Agile teams using tools such as Jira and Microsoft Teams. Optimize website performance, security, and scalability while upholding GDPR and accessibility standards.

Requirements

Extensive experience developing and maintaining WordPress websites and e-commerce solutions
Proficient in working with databases, including SQL Server and PostgreSQL
Hands-on experience with cloud environments, particularly BNPP cloud
Strong DevOps skills, utilizing Jenkins, Kubernetes, and Docker for streamlined deployment and development workflows
Comfortable working in Agile teams, with practical knowledge of tools such as Jira and Microsoft Teams
Committed to upholding security and compliance standards, including GDPR, secure coding practices, and accessibility requirements
Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., Elastic Search, SOLR) and message queuing systems such as JMS queues and Kafka

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain WordPress websites and e-commerce solutions in line with project requirements
Collaborate closely with designers, project managers and other developers to deliver high-quality outcomes
Optimize website performance, security and scalability
Implement custom themes and plugins tailored to client needs
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across multiple projects
Stay up to date with the latest WordPress trends and best practices
Ensure seamless integration with third-party services and platforms as required
