Metyis is growing and seeking a Frontend WooCommerce Developer with 1-3 years of experience for a full-time position in our Technology team. You will design, develop, and maintain WooCommerce-based e-commerce websites while customizing plugins and themes to meet business needs. Integrate WooCommerce with third-party APIs like payment gateways and shipping services. Optimize performance, resolve issues, and ensure security best practices for seamless user experiences.

Work closely with designers, content creators, scrum masters, and Platform Engineers to define architecture and guidelines. Use version control like Git for code management and collaboration. Maintain documentation for all custom developments and configurations.

Requirements

1-3 years of experience in WooCommerce and WordPress development
Strong proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and MySQL
Strong understanding of e-commerce platform architecture, Design and Configurations
Experience with WooCommerce hooks, filters, and custom post types
Familiarity with REST APIs

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain WooCommerce-based e-commerce websites
Customize WooCommerce plugins and themes to meet specific business requirements
Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins to enhance WooCommerce functionality
Integrate WooCommerce with third-party APIs and services such as payment gateways and shipping services
Optimize website performance including load times, scalability, and site efficiency
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to WooCommerce
Implement best practices for securing WooCommerce websites
Collaborate with team lead, scrum masters, and Platform Engineers to define architecture and guidelines
