About this role

The UI/UX Designer role at WebFX calls for a Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design, web design, UX or related fields with a GPA above 3.4. Candidates must submit a portfolio that highlights strong graphic design work with emphasis on web design and UX projects. The position requires at least two years of professional design experience and outstanding skills in Adobe Creative Suite or Figma.

Day-to-day work centers on leading the full UX process and workflow while partnering with a cross-functional team. You will produce high-quality creative solutions to complex problems, create clear user flows, wireframes and prototypes, and plan design sessions that generate ideas and feedback. Additional duties include contributing to the existing design system and UI pattern library.

You will partner closely with UI developers on a daily basis and collaborate with UX researchers to write, facilitate and analyze user research. The role also involves working with UX writers to ensure UI copy meets standards and advocating for the user across all projects. Both detailed design work and strategic influence on the product roadmap are expected.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design, web design, UX or related field with GPA above 3.4
  • Portfolio showcasing excellent graphic design work with emphasis on web design and UX
  • At least 2 years professional design experience
  • Outstanding skills in Adobe Creative Suite and/or Figma
  • Knowledge of web design/UX best practices and responsive design best practices
  • Experience creating end-to-end UX processes including user journeys, task analysis, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping and evaluative research methods
  • HTML/CSS coding experience (not required but a plus)
  • Experience in SaaS product design (a bonus)

  • Advocate for the user in projects and work at both a detailed and strategic level to influence the product roadmap.
