About this role

The Lead UX Designer creates wireframes and interactive prototypes to visualize design solutions. This role includes designing user interface features, site animations, and special effects aligned with brand guidelines. Thorough user research helps understand needs and behaviors to inform optimal layouts.

Conduct qualitative and quantitative research including interviews, surveys, and usability testing. Translate findings into actionable design insights and define navigation structures, content hierarchy, and workflows. Create user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes using industry-standard tools.

Work closely with cross-functional teams including UI designers, developers, and product managers. Ensure designs comply with usability and accessibility standards such as WCAG. Maintain comprehensive design documentation and introduce new methodologies to enhance user engagement.

Mentor junior designers and contribute to team best practices. Validate designs for usability, accessibility, and security compliance while utilizing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for responsive solutions across platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Design Management
  • 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation
  • Utilize User Flows, Wire-framing, Interaction Design, Visual Design & UI, and Design System
  • Utilize Accessibility Design (WCAG), Micro Interactions, and Responsive Design
  • Utilize Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and InVision
  • Utilize HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
