Working on the applications that support Healthcare Providers, the Senior UX Designer leads end-to-end experience design across HCM. The role shapes user journeys, flows and interactions that improve product and service outcomes while applying design thinking and user-centred methods.

Reporting to the Head of Program Delivery & Execution, the Senior UX Designer works closely with product, service design, engineering and operational teams. From discovery through to delivery, the role produces prototypes, customer validated solutions and development ready assets.

The role contributes to uplifting design practice across HCM by enabling design platforms, including the design system and accessibility standards. This ensures experiences are consistent, scalable and inclusive as Bupa continues to expand services and invest in innovation.

Requirements

Extensive User experience design across web application and SaaS
Strong expertise in UX and UI application across discovery to delivery
Extensive experience in Design Thinking, Human Centred Design, System-Thinking, Content Design, Experience Design and Research
Experience building and working in Design Systems
Understanding of API ecosystems
Experience with Lean Process and Agile ways of working

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end experience design across HCM applications that support Healthcare Providers
Shape user journeys, flows and interactions that improve product and service outcomes
Apply design thinking, user-centred methods and strong interface design craft to deliver evidence based digital experiences
Work closely with product, service design, engineering and operational teams from discovery through to delivery
Produce prototypes, customer validated solutions and development ready assets
Contribute to uplifting design practice across HCM by enabling design platforms and the design system
Ensure experiences meet accessibility standards and remain consistent, scalable and inclusive
